Privacy policy

Who is responsible for your data

Your data is controlled by the administrator of the fansseeker.com service. For anything about privacy, write to [email protected].

What we collect

Fans

Fans do not need an account. We record technical data needed to run the site (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and anonymous click counts when a fan opens a link on a card. We don't build profiles of fans.

Creators and agencies

  • Account data: email address, password stored as a secure hash, role and team seats
  • Listing data: username, photo, bio, categories, country, state, price and links, which you choose to publish
  • Verification data: ID document images, liveness selfie and the result of the check, used to confirm age, identity and page ownership
  • Billing data: plan, billing period and payment status; full card details are processed by the payment operator, not by us
  • Usage data: clicks on your card and links, used for your stats
  • Support messages you send us

Card builder

Data you type into the builder on the homepage stays in your browser until you create an account. A cover photo added in the builder is not uploaded until you save your listing.

Why we use it

  • To run your account and publish your listing (performance of a contract)
  • To confirm that every listed creator is an adult and owns her page (legal obligation and legitimate interest in preventing abuse)
  • To count clicks and show you stats (performance of a contract)
  • To bill your plan (performance of a contract and legal obligations)
  • To send account emails such as codes, receipts and important notices (performance of a contract)
  • To keep the site secure and investigate reports (legitimate interest)

We don't sell personal information and we don't share it for advertising.

Verification data

ID images and liveness selfies are sensitive data. They are used only for the check, never shown on a card or to fans, and deleted after the check is complete. We keep the result (pass or fail), the date and the type of document, and we keep more only where the law requires a record.

Who receives data

We share data only with service providers that help us run FansSeeker, under contracts that limit their use of it:

  • a hosting provider that stores the site and its databases
  • an email delivery provider that sends codes and account emails
  • an identity verification provider that runs age and liveness checks
  • a payment operator that processes plan payments
  • authorities, where the law requires it

Some providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, we rely on safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

We use only cookies the site needs to work: a session cookie, a security token for forms and a cookie that remembers your age notice choice. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, so there is no cookie banner.

How long we keep data

  • Account and listing data: while your account is active, and up to 30 days after you delete it
  • Verification images: deleted after the check
  • Verification result: as long as your listing exists and for a period required by law afterwards
  • Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires
  • Technical logs: up to 90 days

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Residents of the EU and UK can also complain to their data protection authority. California residents have the rights given by the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know, delete and correct personal information and to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for using them.

To use any right, email [email protected] from the address on your account.

Adults only

FansSeeker is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and any account found to belong to a minor is closed and its data deleted.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top.
